When I first entered the lash industry in 2017, I noticed many new lash artists (myself included) leaving weekend certification courses feeling overwhelmed and unsure of their skills. 

I created this program to give aspiring lash artists the time, mentorship and hands-on practice they truly need to succeed in this profession. 

Rather than rushing through techniques in a single weekend, this 9 week program is designed to help students build confidence, refine their skills and develop a strong foundation for a lasting career in the beauty industry. 

My goal is not only to certify students, but to support them in becoming skilled, confident professionals who are ready to grow their own clientele and thrive in this ever-growing industry.

Classic + Volume Lash Training

Become a certified lash artist through an immersive 9-week training experience designed to set you up for long-term success in the lash industry.

Unlike traditional weekend courses, this program allows students time to learn, practice, ask questions, and refine their technique week by week.

By the end of the program, students graduate with two certifications, real client experience, and the confidence to begin building their own lash business.

Duration: 9 Week Dual Certification Program
Schedule: Monday evenings 5pm – 9pm

Each class builds on the previous week so students can practice and return with questions.

Class sizes are intentionally kept small to allow for personalized coaching and mentorship.

Traditionally lash courses are taught in one or two very intense days.

While this can introduce the basics, many students leave feeling overwhelmed and unsure of their technique once they return home. 

Our program was intentionally designed differently, with career longevity in mind. 

Over the course of 9 weeks, students are given:

• time between classes to practice
• light weekly homework to refine skills
• ongoing feedback and corrections
• multiple opportunities for hands-on learning

This format allows techniques to be properly learned, repeated, and mastered.

The goal is not just certification; it is long-term success and confidence as a professional lash artist.

Students accepted into the program will be certified in both Classic and Volume Lash Extensions.

Training includes:

• Lash theory and safety
• Client consultation and eye analysis
• Lash styling and mapping
• Isolation techniques
• Classic lash application
• Volume fan creation
• Proper adhesive use
• Lash fills and removals
• Sanitation and hygiene standards
• Client retention strategies
• Pricing and business basics
• Photography and marketing tips
• Professional kit ($800+ value)

Students accepted into this program will also participate in a professional content session where they will receive branding photos to assist in launching their lash business.

This includes:

• professional headshots 
• Photos of you working as a lash artist
• Social media ready images 

These images can be used for your social media, booking sites and marketing your services.

Each class includes a mix of theory, demonstrations, and hands-on practice.

Students accepted into this course will:

• practice techniques on mannequins and models
• receive real-time feedback and corrections
• complete small homework assignments to strengthen technique
• ask questions and troubleshoot challenges

By spacing training over several weeks, students can build skill, speed, and confidence gradually.

To receive certification accepted students must:

• attend all classes
• complete assigned practice work
• demonstrate safe and proper technique
• pass a final practical assessment

Upon successful completion students will receive:

• Classic Lash Certification
• Volume Lash Certification
• Professional branding photos to launch your lash business
• A professional lash kit to continue building your clientele
• Ongoing mentorship and support from Revival Lash Academy

Revival Lash Academy is owned and operated by Briana Bourassa, a member of Mistawasis Nêhiyawak. 

The academy is committed to creating accessible career opportunities and supporting Indigenous students interested in entrepreneurship in the beauty industry. Each cohort reserves one seat for a student funded through a First Nations band or Indigenous training program.
